We offer group classes and individual coaching designed to help anyone regardless of current fitness level become healthy and fit.
The goal was simple: Create the best environment possible to help people like you become healthy and capable through fitness. Every week hundreds of Fairfield area residents give our coaches the opportunity to lead them through our workout of the day. Come, join us and see what the buzz is about.
Our workouts are comprised of functional full body movements. These movements simulate the patterns and activities you do in your daily life and help create a foundation of fitness and health.
What We Do
At Boom, you will find coaches who teach you how to use your body to become healthier, stronger, and more capable no matter your current fitness level. Using your body, free weights, barbells, medicine balls and wide open spaces for squatting, running, jumping, and lifting we teach you to move your body the way it is meant to be moved. It means that all your workouts will be comprised of exercises that mimic movements performed in day-to-day life or sport. We focus on improving functional movements that are necessary and common in your daily activities. In the gym, these movements are modified based on the individual so that it’s always do-able, but challenging enough that the results come quickly.
It also means that you will never get bored. With our constantly varied programming you will rarely do the same workout twice in any given year. We plan everything so you just need to show up. You will never have to program your own workouts or spend hours in the gym. Instead, each day a workout will be provided for you that is scalable to suit your fitness level. And because our workouts are rarely longer than 40 minutes (hour long classes) they can fit into even the busiest schedules.
Our fitness programming aims to improve your capacity in ten recognized fitness domains cardio-respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance and accuracy. The result is comprehensive physical fitness and restored vitality.

Boom Fitness is located at 210 West Lowe in Fairfield (near Everybodys and BP Gas). When you enter our 2400 square foot space, you will quickly realize we are a very different workout experience. In place of workout machines that isolate muscles, you will find Olympic bars, free weights, kettlebells, medicine balls, pullup bars, and jump ropes by Rogue Fitness. This is the same gear used in the Reebok / ESPNs Crossfit Games. We aim for efficient functionality, you won’t find mirrors or televisions. What you will quickly find is that we have everything you need to get in phenomenal shape. You can use your mirror at home for verification.
